Winter Festival Rome is an independent travel guide to the city’s Christmas markets, winter events, attractions and hotels. We are not the organiser of the events described here.
How we check seasonal information
We prioritise municipal notices, the Rome tourism office, the Vatican and organisers’ current calendars. We show which dates are confirmed and which are still pending. We do not move dates from a previous winter into a new season.
How we select tickets and hotels
Experiences are selected for relevance to a winter visit. Hotel recommendations are based on published listing information and neighbourhood fit, not first-hand stays. Provider availability and prices are checked at the provider’s live checkout.
How the website earns revenue
Bookings through labelled links may earn us a commission from Tiqets, GetYourGuide or Booking.com. Our guides include free events and official booking routes as well as affiliate experiences.
Corrections and sources
Each event guide includes its source and the last check date. Recheck the official organiser before making fixed plans. Our first research review was completed on 14 October 2026.
